Our objective is simple: raise at least $10,000 for the CatWalk Trust, a charity dedicated to finding a cure for spinal cord injury. We will push the limits of what we can do on our own feet, so that someday more people will be able to get back on theirs.
We would love your support! You can donate directly here, and stay up to date with our progress by following @ThirtyEightin38 on Facebook and Instagram.

The SPCA is asking animal owners in the CBD to take precautionary measures to prevent pets from breathing in smoke from the SkyCity Convention Centre fire. These include bringing pets indoors and making sure they stay out of smoke, keeping windows closed and shutting down external ventilation if smoke is being drawn into your building. Flat-faced cats and dogs are the greatest at risk. Has your flat-faced pet been affected by the smoke? Leave a comment below or email aucklandnewsroom@stuff.co.nz.

Diwali is a spiritual celebration symbolising the ‘victory of light over darkness, good over evil and knowledge over ignorance’. Many Indian people all over the world come together in celebrating with their loved ones, as well as sharing this occasion with the people that have become their neighbours. There will be several big celebrations in Auckland this weekend, so do make a day of it and enjoy the colours, the food, the dancing, and the music.
