The council is also calling for central Government to introduce more regulations. What are your thoughts on e-scooters? Should they be allowed on footpaths? Do we need more safety regulations? Or are the current rules strict enough?

You can say THANK YOU in your own special way, like Paul.
Grateful Auckland DHB stroke patient Paul Harvey chooses to fundraise for Auckland City Hospital’s stroke rehabilitation ward to help future patients receive the best possible care, and thank the dedicated team that gave him back his independence.
Paul was determined to turn his stroke into something positive: “I’ve found my cause, and I intend to keep working to help those who were vital in my recovery.”
If you’ve received amazing care through Auckland DHB and want to say ‘thank you’, you can donate, share your story or fundraise, like Paul.
Paul works with the Auckland Health Foundation, the official charity for Auckland DHB’s adult health services, to make his fundraising goals a reality – and make a difference. And you can too.
Donate now or be inspired by Paul to say ‘thank you’ in your own special way here.

I work as a teacher in Mt Wellington and my partner works at the hospital, we are returning from overseas and will not have a house to live in until the end of March so are looking for housesitting opportunities. We are very clean and tidy, happy to care for animals (experienced with cats, dogs, chickens, and rabbits but happy to look after others), and don’t charge for housesits. Longer term sits preferred but will consider shorter stays depending on the situation. More than happy to talk over the phone, or meet and see if we’re the right fit for you before committing. Please get in touch if you’re looking for someone this summer, either message via neighbourly or call/txt me on 0220943217 😊
