Surf Lifesaving chief exectuive Mark Williams said there is a constant risk particularly when offshore winds are blowing.
He recommends taking great care and extra vigilance around the use of such flotation devices, which are a popular Christmas present, especially by young children who can very quickly be pushed out of their depth.

To serve, It’s best to take the ice cream out of the freezer.

Legionella bacteria can cause Legionnaires' disease, which is a lung condition similar to pneumonia. It can cause coughing, shortness of breath, fever, muscle aches, headaches and in extreme cases, death.
The spa has been treated, emptied, scrubbed and re-filled, however it would take up to 10 days to receive the results.
