Hi
I have an old GLOBE overlocker (probably at least 25 years old ) to give away. It has an instruction booklet, and lots and lots of threads. Hopefully someone might be able to make use of it. I was given this and have not used it as I am not a sower.

I first raised the safety issues at Selwyn/Arthur Street intersection with Auckland Transport last April. Thankfully at my request, AT has assured me that anti-skid grit is coming next month, however I’ve been in contact with them again today to ask if this is enough. Even our boys in blue are being put at risk by this dangerous intersection.

Our water use is "skyrocketing" according to Watercare, breaking previous water records three times last week. The water company says if we continue to use more and more water on hot days, restrictions may be introduced. What creative ways are you trying to save water? Do you have a timer in your shower? Have you replaced your herbs with cacti so you don't have to water them? Let us know, we'd love to hear your stories.
