Ellerslie has a new valuable community service with Justices of the Peace regularly available at their new service desk. It’s in the War Memorial Community Centre, right in the heart of Ellerslie shopping centre.

Having started on the 9th June, JPs are available 3 mornings a week: Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 10am until noon.

With effect from 1 July, the Panmure Library in Pilkington Road will also have JPs on a service desk on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10am until noon.

Area Coordinator for Justices of the Peace, Jenny Hunt, says sufficient local JPs have volunteered to provide the service and all are accredited members of the Auckland Justices of the Peace Association. “We are available to provide the full range of JP services… no appointment is necessary and we look forward to assisting the local community at our new service desk which joins the network of more than 60 across Auckland”.

The War Memorial Community Centre is at 134 Main Highway: park in the Arthur Street carpark.

The Panmure Library is at 7-13 Pilkington Road, Panmure: parking is available in the carpark adjacent.

We celebrate your child’s maths and English achievements, big and small. Tutoring at NumberWorks’nWords is based on success. Each child feels more confident about themselves as a learner when they experience success. Tutors provide positive interaction, certificates are awarded and centre-wide celebration is given when students move up a level. You may have been in the centre and heard the clapping and cheering when this happens. It’s so rewarding to see the smiles on the children’s faces and how proud they are of their achievements.
