1. The … View moreHi everyone, some of you will have noticed police presence in Ellerslie this morning. This was directly related to the incident that happened last Friday on Arthur Street.
I have spoken to the Police Area Commander and received an updated.
The key things for our community to know are:
1. The people involved with Friday's events were known to each other so it was not a random incident.
2. The firearms related to the incident have been recovered.
3. Police are actively working their way through what happened.
I have also been on the phone with Kainga Ora and expect to be in communication with them more throughout the day. If there are any further updates I will touch base again.
