I have been told by an overseas relative after she had some Hyaluronic acid injected (by a medical specialist) on her knee joint, her knee pain has reduced significantly. Before that she could not even walk, now she can do some activities such as a long walk.

Ardern has been under increasing pressure to delay the election, previously set for September 19, after Auckland was placed in a two-week lockdown due to an outbreak of Covid-19 in the community, leading to a halt in most political campaigning.

Have just returned from a busy local dairy . I observed for about 20 minutes approximately 30 people coming and going into the dairy .
I was alarmed only 2 people scanned the QR code, and only a handful were wearing masks.
I am unsure if it is a vanity thing not wearing a mask , or people … View more
Have just returned from a busy local dairy . I observed for about 20 minutes approximately 30 people coming and going into the dairy .
I was alarmed only 2 people scanned the QR code, and only a handful were wearing masks.
I am unsure if it is a vanity thing not wearing a mask , or people thinking the Covid is not in our area.
Have a reality check everybody , it is the responsibility of all to take this situation very seriously.

Coronavirus: Auckland remaining at alert level 3 until August 26

Have you heard the news? Auckland will remain in level 3, while the rest of the country will remain at level 2 until midnight Wednesday, August 26 – an additional 12 days.

Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern said the approach is “short, but precautionary”. Extending the restrictions for an additional 12 days is the same length of the virus’ incubation period, director-general of health Dr Ashley Bloomfield said.

The Auckland DHB have confirmed the current list of testing sites remain accurate. Unfortunately there are no plans to add additional testing facilities in our area, despite what I believe about a current need for it.

The Auckland DHB have confirmed the current list of testing sites remain accurate. Unfortunately there are no plans to add additional testing facilities in our area, despite what I believe about a current need for it.

Some have asked about the new Waipuna Hotel testing facility in Mt Wellington. This is reserved for close contacts of the known Auckland cluster only. If you are looking for general testing facilities, I have been advised you should approach other sites.

I'm also told that sites for testing can change as more information comes to light. I will update you if and when changes are made in our area.
