As a semi retired driving instructor I used to own one of Auckland's well known driving schools. I am now offering people my driving lessons experience for free with all the tips and tricks on how to pass a driving test. Most parents do a great job of coaching their children but don't have the tools to get up to test standard. Tips like how to navigate roundabouts and do observation points, lane changing procedures, flush medians, merging, speed zones, how and when to do the MIB - men in black procedures etc and the list goes on.

Please Note : I am trying out this new strategy to save people heaps on driving lessons and also it's a neighbourly gesture so learners can pass their test at VTNZ and avoid critical errors.

SoulSlips is a client of mine. Mel makes the slippers by hand on Waiheke from iconic NZ woolen blankets.

The two decades of marketing-guy in me says that they should be on a white background to match what everyone else is doing.....buuuuuuut the sheepskin background gives it such a cool authentic, homely look that I'm thinking the marketing guy in me is wrong...

What do you think?
Appreciate the input.

This Sunday we'll be putting our clocks back for the end of daylight saving. Despite the benefits of an extra hour of sun during daylight saving, these clock changes commonly bring disruptions to our households and sleep - some feel that it should be scrapped altogether. What do you think?
