Now is a great opportunity to get stuck in to declutter or spruce up your space, pop any unwanted or surplus goods aside, and we will let you know once we are safe to start receiving donations again.
With our SPCA Op Shops closed under Level 4 and Level 3 across the country, we would be incredibly grateful for any donated goods you can put aside for our local stores, all money raised contributes to helping animals in need.

SH16 through Kumeu is closed due to flooding between Matua Road and Riverhead Road, and Waka Kotahi has reports of fallen trees and slips across the wider network.
MetService said heavy rain is expected to continue throughout Tuesday.
Neighbourly spokesperson Sarah Moore encourages people to check in on their neighbours - especially if they’re elderly or alone.
“But ensure you're abiding by Level 4 rules consider emailing, texting or using Neighbourly to send a message. Even if they're doing well, the connection will mean a lot,” she said.
“When there's a break in the weather carefully head outside to check whether anything is blocking your drains or has come loose in a storm. Don't rush - things could be slippery. If you do notice damage make sure you take photos in case you need to lodge an insurance claim.”

Police have confirmed they are at the scene, and the video's caption suggests a firearm is involved. A staffer at Lynn Mall Pharmacy says a person coming to pick up a prescription ran in and alerted them someone in the mall might have a weapon. She says they closed their shutters to keep everyone inside safe - and have been in contacted with another pharmacy in the mall which is also locking down.

4. or I can just come along to your letterbox and bring my thermos of coffee and we can sit 2 m apart, with masks on, and simply chat.
