Hey neighbours,

If you're looking to secure a rental property, get ready for a competitive and expensive time.

New figures say the number of Trade Me inquiries on rentals is on the up, and with the number of available properties decreasing, significant price jumps are expected in the coming months.

Auckland's median weekly rent rose to $560 in July, while in Wellington the median weekly rent has risen 10 per cent year-on-year to $530.

Are you having a hard time finding and affording a rental property?

We love it when our community can get on board the Spirit of New Zealand and have a tall ship experience. This is the last opportunity in Auckland for 2019 before she sets sail on many adventures over the summer.

This is the perfect opportunity to sail around the Auckland harbour; hoist the sails, helm the Ship or sit back, go for the ride and enjoy the view. You will also be treated to freshly baked treats for morning tea.

Spaces are limited. We look forward to having you on the ship.

Hi Neighbours,

Piaf has been missing since the morning of 26th August. She went missing from their home in Mt Eden near the mountain and has been sighted near Target on Dominion Road; she may also be wandering around Eden Terrace/Kingsland.

Piaf is wearing a blue collar with a yellow tag. She is a bit skittish so she probably won't come to you without a treat and will need a slow approach.

The owner has put the info out via the vet network and her microchip, on the council website and Facebook but would greatly appreciate any additional eyes.

If you see her, please contact her owner Ally on 021344838.

Thanks!
