We are looking to engage with wahine who are hoping to soon be pregnant or who are in the first two trimesters of their pregnancy for the Physical Evolution Through Pregnancy project at AUT Millennium (Antares Place, Albany, Auckland).

Our aim is to develop new knowledge to support health practices relating to the physical and functional changes women undergo throughout pregnancy.

By being involved you will receive personal tracking of physical changes throughout your pregnancy and expert advice through educational sessions and workshops for wellbeing support.

Ferrero International S.A. is recalling Kinder Surprise chocolate eggs from New Zealand shelves because of potential contamination with salmonella bacteria.

It forms part of a global recall of affected product, which was manufactured in a Belgian factory. There have been cases of illnesses reportedly linked to the product overseas, but there have been no confirmed cases in New Zealand.

The following product is in New Zealand and is affected by this issue and has been recalled:

· Kinder Surprise Maxi 100g (Natoons variety) with batch number L298R03UNB and best before date of 23 August 2022.

The following types of products have been recalled overseas and may also be in New Zealand:

· Kinder Surprise
· Kinder Surprise Maxi
· Kinder Mini Eggs
· Kinder Schokobon
· Kinder Egg Hunt
· Kinder Mix
· Kinder Maxi Mix
· Kinder Happy Moment

People who have Kinder Surprise eggs at home are encouraged to check the label to ensure it is not affected by the recall. Further details are soon to be published on the New Zealand Food Safety Authority's website

Due to the tsunami, volcanic eruption and fall-out of ash that has destroyed 300 homes across the islands of the Kingdom of Tonga, Co-chair of the Aotearoa Tonga Relief Committee MP Jenny Salesa has made a personal appeal to Oneness-Heart-Tears and Smiles to collect stationery for the children of these households.

Jenny has outlined eight Government Primary Schools (GPS) severely affected by the volcanic eruption and tsunami: GPS Kolomotu'a, GPS 'Atata, GPS Kanokupolu, GPS Mango Island, GPS Kotu, GPS Fonoifua, GPS Tunga and GPS Nomuka.

Here is a list of other stationery items that would be most helpful:
• Unused diaries;
• Notebooks / paper, drawing paper;
• Pens, pencils, colour pencil, pencil sharpener / and or crayons, eraser;
• Children’s books of any kind;

If your workplace have any unused diaries and/or stationery to donate, we would be more than happy to come and collect it from you anytime before Monday 11 April. Shipment is scheduled to leave for Tonga on Wed 13th April.
