Hi neighbours,

Auckland is back in alert level three after three new cases of Covid-19 were found in the community.

The locations of interest include LSG SkyChefs, Papatoetoe High School and Pak n Save Manukau on Cavendish Drive.

Aucklanders, including students, are asked to stay home.

Supermarkets, petrol stations and pharmacies will stay open.

Those identified as contacts or who were at the locations of interest are being asked to get tested.

The announcement, made by the Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern following a Cabinet meeting on Sunday evening, came after three members of a south Auckland family – a mother, father and daughter - contracted the virus.

The mother and daughter had visited places including Back Beach, Te Rewa Rewa Bridge and Pukekura Park between February 6 and 8.

Hi neighbours,

How have you been passing the time during lockdown?

With Auckland back in Level 3, most of us are back working from the kitchen table, juggling work, school and childcare - simultaneously for some.

Last year, Stuff reported on the great array of hobbies New Zealanders picked up during the lockdown, such as home workouts and learning a few new cooking hacks. PC gaming also proved popular with Google search trends for March 2020 showing a 400 per cent search increase for the term.

What are you going to be up to during Level 3? Share your thoughts below and don't forget to type NFP if you don't want your comment featured in the conversations section of the Manukau Courier.
