Think of those stresses and strains in life like this glass I am holding out. As we think of stressful events and things that might happen just for a short while, nothing happens it’s easy to hold. Think about them a bit longer and they begin to hurt. Think about them all day long and even through some of the night I would feel paralysed incapable of doing anything.
It is essential to remember to let go of your stresses and learn to put that glass down.
Come along, bring your whānau, neighbours and friends. All ages welcome. No charge, just come along and bring flat soled shoes. Bowls provided.

It's hard not to be inspired by Ryan and Ziski, who have spent the past year building their own tiny house in Riverhead - it's going to be their "forever" home.

More importantly, the speaker will outline her in-depth understanding of the New Zealand Chinese based on her decades of research. She will share with the audience issues like why the Chinese are so diverse (and not one uniform community), where they reside, their ties to the homeland and their sense of allegiance to New Zealand. To them, where is home?
The speaker will also explore their relationship with New Zealand’s tangata whenua, the Maori.

These seem to retail for a few hundred dollars each if buying new. Only $65 ONO for both. Happy to drop off if local if required. Open to any offers. Listing on Trademe if not gone soon as I don't have the space to store.

5 workbooks for 3-4 year olds and 2 for 4-5 year olds. All in as new condition except one has like 3 of the gold star stickers removed, I think all the others have all the stickers.
Each of the 3-4 year old workbooks come with a sheaf of photocopied pages so you can do the activities repeatedly and without damaging the book (which is what we did). The “getting ready for English” one has heaps (and HEAPS) of photocopies, the others not quite as many but still plenty.
Also includes a laminated copy of the alphabet (for practicing) and a laminated copy of the magenta high frequency reading words for 5-5.5 year olds.
Awesome resource either for a preschool or an individual. $10 each ONO or $50 for everything.
Listing on trademe soon if not gone first.
