This is just an idea we could do as a country to help the homeless out. This video is from a guy in America who is called Choice MAS! His main videos are on trucking mainly but him and his team of friends in parts of America come together from time to time to help out taking food to the homeless people, wherever they can. How many train failures have their been in Auckland in the recent years? Maybe 4-5 (just guessing), could be more than that. You need to have a backup transport system in case one fails so to speak.

People will ring up employers saying they will be coming late because they have to use a taxi or bus to get to work because the train has had a electric fault or failure somewhere along the line or track.

Now when the train fails, the monorail can be used as a back transport system when these things happen to the train.

You wouldn't need to ring your bosses up when the train stuffs up or has a fault somewhere, the monorail would be able to be used to take you to work much more faster and much quicker too!

That's is what I have to say about that! Yes there has been a poll on this already, but sometimes it's good to get another opinion on the matter.

Hi neighbours, Auckland Transport's initiative to get more kids on public transport by making it free on weekends has so far apparently failed to get traction.
The move began on September 7 with children aged 5 to 15 getting a free ride as long as they tagged their registered HOP card.
But figures show the numbers of children using public transport was similar - or even lower - than the week before when they had to pay.
Are free weekends enticing you to take the kids on public transport?
Please put NFP if you do not want your comments used in print.
