šŸ’„Hot off the pressšŸ’„ Australia finalises trans-Tasman bubble deal

Fiona from Henderson

Australia has finalised a trans-Tasman bubble deal that will see Kiwis allowed to cross the ditch without having to quarantine on arrival into just two states at this stage, New South Wales and the Northern Territory.
At this stage the arrangement is one-way, with Australians not able to travel to New Zealand (thank goodness).
To those who are seriously considering this, be warned, upon return to New Zealand you will still need to have the appropriate managed isolation booking upon return, spend two weeks in managed isolation, and pay the fee which applies to anyone who left New Zealand after August 11.

Donā€™t Wash Your Hair In The Shower

Andrea from Green Bay

Itā€™s so good to finally get a ā€œHealth Warningā€ that is useful.
It involves the shampoo when it runs down your body when you shower with itā€¦ a warning to us all!ā€
I donā€™t know why I didnā€™t figure this out sooner!
I use shampoo in the shower when I wash my hair.
The shampoo runs down my whole body and printed very clearly on the shampoo label is this warning: ā€œFor Extra Body & Volumeā€
No wonder I have been gaining weight!
Well I got rid of that shampoo.
I am going to start showering with Dawn dishwashing Soap instead.
The label reads: ā€œDissolves Fatā€ that is otherwise difficult to remove.
Problem Solvedāœ…

Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.

This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.

Do you think this ban is reasonable?
