A nationwide test of the Emergency Mobile Alert system is happening on Sunday 25 November between 6pm and 7pm.

It doesn’t matter which network you are on. Any capable phone in the target area during the broadcast period should receive the alert

Emergency Mobile Alerts are not meant to replace other emergency alerts, or the need to take action after natural warnings.

You still need to be prepared for an emergency and you should not wait to get an alert before you act. If you feel your life is in danger, don’t wait for an official warning. Take immediate action.

Accordingly, the term "number 8 wire" came to represent the ingenuity and resourcefulness of New Zealanders, and the phrase "a number 8 wire mentality" evolved to denote an ability to create or repair machinery using whatever scrap materials are available on hand.
Our prefered wire is the high-end wire which comes with the SPEED™ SYSTEM
SPEED braces are a state of the art orthodontic system that does not use elastomeric ligatures. Instead, SPEED braces use spring-clips to straighten teeth. The clips are programmed by Bachmann Orthodontics to move teeth over time.
SPEED braces are smaller than regular braces making them easier to wear, more comfortable and aesthetically more refined. SPEED braces are also easy to clean, which helps patients maintain optimal oral health one of our primary concerns here at Bachmann Orthodontics.

Why SPEED™?
1). Improved oral hygiene
2). Smaller
3). Sleeker
4). Improved aesthetics
5). Faster treatment time
6). More comfortable to wear

People love to watch them, and those who ride in them describe their flight as a “peak” experience. Did you know that at the time of their invention hot air balloons were usually made of silk? Floss was initially made of silk too. Who made the first "Dental Floss"? In the early 1800s, a pioneering dentist, Levi Spear Parmly, urged patients to clean between their teeth with silk thread — a revolutionary technique that protects the gum line and prevents tooth decay. Silk thread came in unwieldy spools and had to be cut into lengths with a knife. In the 1870s, Asahel Shurtleff helped to civilise floss when he patented the first dispenser: a bobbin of thread with a U-shaped prong sticking out of its side. Recent studies, meanwhile, have revealed that flossing might be one of the simplest ways to ward off tooth decay. Please do not forget to floss and if you can use biodegradable made of natural silk.
