You've been the best this year Auckland !

Todd Niall Reporter from Auckland Stuff

Hi Neighbours, 2020 - well it's all been said really hasn't it. Auckland has had a double-dose of the hardest part of Covid-19, with two big restrictions. But what a response from you all. My thoughts are below:

F & P Washsmart Top Load Washing Machine - Free

Adrian from Albany Heights

Apart from the above fault it's in excellent condition and functions up to the point where the programe fails (picking it's likely an electronics problem) with absolutely no rust or dents. Ideal if you're into troubleshooting or just want it for spares.
If you are interested please message me by return to organise urgent pickup from Albany Heights before I haul it to the scrap merchants....see attached pic.

Urgent alert function- and its use

Blair from Albany

Suggest that Neighbourly should remove this function off sections of the site where it is not needed, like items for sale etc and only used in crime and safety perhaps? Received spam today for someone selling some bricks....

"Mending Wall ", all about good neighbours - a poem by Robert Frost in 1914

David from Waiake

This is one of those rare poems which can be found in countless anthologies, hence read and appreciated by generation upon generation the world over. Frost wrote it way back, in the plain speech of New England farmers in the USA.

This is one of those rare poems which can be found in countless anthologies, hence read and appreciated by generation upon generation the world over. Frost wrote it way back, in the plain speech of New England farmers in the USA.
It came back to prominence in the Cuban missile crisis of 1963 and again in 2016, as Donald Trump began his disgraceful campaign around "build that wall".
The cadences pulse with deeper, darker themes, paradoxes inherent
in all human relationships.
I really enjoyed illustrating it with copper plate intaglio etchings. Why not make 2021 the year when you let the creative impulse to building positive relationship guide your thinking.

How does one sum up a distinguished career upon being awarded New Zealand's highest royal honour?

“It’s always been this huge adventure,” Dame Anne Salmond says of her career as an anthropologist, environmentalist and multi award-winning author, unable to settle on a particular highlight.

Salmond's work has been recognised with a multitude of awards and honours.

Despite this, Salmond, a resident of Stanley Point, said she was stunned and overwhelmed to receive a letter telling her she had been named a Member of the Order of New Zealand for services to New Zealand in the 2021 New Year Honours.
