Hi Neighbours, 2020 - well it's all been said really hasn't it. Auckland has had a double-dose of the hardest part of Covid-19, with two big restrictions. But what a response from you all. My thoughts are below:

I attained NZ Suzuki Institute (guitar), violin grade 8 (distinction), ATCL (distinction) - a diploma in music performance. When I teach, I use the best of both worlds of traditional & Suzuki teachings & it seems this combination works well. I know the learning challenges at a young age as I have been there before & in my teachings to all ages, I am patient/flexible. This year I was a school prefect & House Captain. Following a dry 2019, the region saw a record 40 days with no rain in January and February, paving the way for water restrictions that would continue into December.
Despite the restrictions and Aucklanders being the most efficient water users in New Zealand, the dam levels are still low and Watercare is asking everyone to try and save 20 litres per day.
