Me and my YouTube team have been covering the deconstruction/demolition of the highland park shopping centre over the past few weeks since the beginning. We have got footage of mostly everything, however sadly we missed the day of the tower itself.
I was wondering if anyone has footage of the tower being demolished as this would be a great addition to our video.
The purpose of our video is to provide the community and future generations with something to remember highland park and show the iconic landmark being removed.
If anyone managed to get footage or knows anyone who did please pm me.

We’re excited to be talking with John between 3pm and 4pm, as we’ll further explore his most recent album, Naked Truths (Ode, 2021), that we featured a few months ago, with all its 23 songs.
It’s a remarkable body of work by such an accomplished composer and artist, superbly produced and arranged by Bruce Lynch and Russell Finch, who play throughout along with Rex Goh, and there are cameos by fellow musicians Dean Kerr and Lewis McCallum.
It’ll be great to have John Hanlon in the East FM studio, in Howick, where he grew up and it all started for him as a singer-songwriter and musician in the 1960s and 1970s, leading to the big-selling singles and Kiwi Music Gold Discs and career that has delivered 10 albums to date. Fairfield Pet Lodge (FPL) is family owned and operated and has been in the Taljaard family (Anton, Crisna and Ashlee) ownership for the past six years, but the facility was established in approximately 1978! FPL is situated on a lifestyle block of 5 stunning hectares including lush paddocks, large gardens and mature trees, located about 7.5km from Clevdon and just under 40km from Auckland airport.
Anton has an abundance of experience with animals, serving 12 years as a dog handler in the South African Police Service, shortly after arriving to NZ he volunteered his services at the SPCA in Mangere. He also holds several degrees in business and management. Therefore, it's no surprise that managing FPL is based on modern and sustainable practises. hence the slogan "We do not follow we lead" holds true for FPL

We welcome non-members to hire a court in our off peak times for casual play.
The cost of the hire is $25.00 per 45 minutes for the court. Rackets and balls may be hired when the Pro Shop is open.
