Queen split AdjustaMattress massage bed, made in Australia, as new
Queen split Adjusta Mattress massage bed 2 x 76 x 203cm – Dual Queen (made in Australia by AdjustaMattress). Almost new, in original condition.
6 months only in use by one person lying on one of the two mattresses alternately, never in the middle. Great for reading in bed and for zero gravity sleep.
AdjustaMattress has won Australia’s good design award for medical and scientific device as Class 2 Bed Safe. Better than what I’ve seen of the NZ adjusta beds.
This is a Queen split massage bed with two memory foam mattresses. Adjustments are for separate head and foot elevation controlled by remote. Two remotes, one for each mattress, include 2 ‘favourite’ adjustment settings, variety of massage areas and intensities.
The separate mattress control feature is not common on NZ’s Queen size adjusta beds.
Can control both sides together with one remote (having attached a dual cord
between the two mechanisms).
The memory foam in 3 layers has more air pockets than other memory foams in NZ – featured in the firm base layer, therefore more wicking of moisture for good health. The middle layer provides support and the top layer is softer, and designed for cooling. The organic cotton cover is hypo-allergenic and dust mite resistant.
Does not have a headboard. Floor clearance is adjustable to 5 different heights with 8 legs, I had storage drawer underneath of 25cm high. Can be lower.
Intensity massage levels for 10, 20 or 30 minutes. Can isolate massage areas, including separate foot, back and head areas.
Has a Zero gravity setting = semi Fowler position (based on NASA’s optimal body position for reducing pressure), distributing body weight evenly for best rest and recovery throughout the night. Anti snore button.
Has a night light if required.
Was bought to alleviate sore hips – and succeeded well. But the house is being changed around and this bed room requires more space so the queen bed must go to someone lucky. New price is $9200, will sell for $6200.
User's manual instructs in detail with pictures, how to assemble and remote functions.
Pick up is in Takapuna. Genuine buyers welcome to lie on bed, try the adjustments and 3 massage settings. Phone 0210526040.
Images apart from the remote are from the owner's manual. My bed for sale is not enclosed at the base - but allows a storage container under the bed. I'll photograph my bed tomorrow.
