Take an old children’s table and turn it into a fun and tactile sensory board.
Sensory boards can be made with all sorts of textures and themes for young children, and are great learning tools. Let your children help choose the Resene colours and help fun with contrasting colours.

Meet Christina Nuku who graduated with majors in Indigenous Studies and Policy. Through Awanuiārangi, Christina experienced a 3-month exchange programme at the University of Northern British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. She shares “the exchange connected me with the Nisga’a people, First Nations tribal systems, communities and hauora programmes. It informed my studies and opened my mind. It was a genuine privilege to connect with the tangata whenua there, and an opportunity I would never otherwise have had”
“The difference at Awanuiārangi is the whanaungatanga. Our kaiako cultivated a supportive and nurturing environment”. Study remotely with us in 2021!

Luna was found deep in the ditch late on Friday night after being stuck for at least a day.
It took 90 minutes for Fire and Emergency New Zealand and New Zealand Police officers to pull the female kitten to safety.
The animal was not micro-chipped and had not been reported missing.
So one of the constables at Counties Manukau Police adopted and named the cat.
Luna's now happy and settled with a healthy appetite to boot.
