What a pleasure to meet Hayley Parsons of Clarks Beach, Auckland. She and husband Chris relocated this huge three-storey villa from Palmerston North to Auckland, and project managed the rebuild of Huntly House from London. Wonderful house, wonderful history.

Work during the week with flexi hours and North Shore location
We are a north shore based business specializing in one -off cleans for new build and renovations, end of tenancy cleaning , spring cleaning and we also carry out home staging to assist the sale of properties.
Our work is varied and our reputation is key.. We're happy to train in the skills required if you have great attention to detail and a meticulous mindset. Normal housecleaning skills (kitchen and bathroom) will be required and we often add oven cleaning, walls and ceiling cleaning, blinds, carpets, windows and water blasting to our offering and will happily train in any of those to add to your skill sets.
An added bonus is that most of our work is done Monday to Friday and we will consider school hours as an option. There is also progression available as the business is growing rapidly !
If you're flexible and diligent , fit and fabulous please contact Jude on jude@littlemermaid.co.nz or call 0212362284 outlining your experience and the number of hours you are available.

The changes, which come into effect on Monday, follow the completion of a $350 million upgrade of the downtown waterfront.
The new piers has resulted in the renumbering of those at the downtown ferry terminal, Auckland Transport (AT) has advised.
The timing of some services will be altered to accommodate the new piers, and some new services will be added.

Located at Campbells Bay, a prestigious suburb and very close to one of the best beaches (300m) on the shore and next to Centennial Park, tennis club and golf course. Great walks everywhere.
The room is warm and very clean with lots of afternoon sun. Has a large double wardrobe and security lock on the window. It is part of a large separate flat located downstairs and has all it’s own facilities including cooking area and a log burner for heating (we provide the wood). The area is shared with a professional couple in their mid twenties. Owners live upstairs with cat and friendly dog.
We are looking for someone who is clean, tidy, respectful of others and not broke. Bus stops, both ways, are located virtually at the door.
Rent is $290.00 per week, all inclusive, except a winter tariff of $10.00 per week between May and October for firewood and extra power charges. Optic fibre is connected. References would be good but not entirely essential.

Regardless of our different faiths, abilities, cultures, ages, orientations and genders - we want to make sure that our communities are safe and welcoming for all.
There are many ways to take part! From hosting a multicultural potluck or film screening to providing prevention information / resources in other languages, there are thousands of ways big and small to make our households, neighbourhoods, schools and businesses even more inclusive. It could even be as simple as learning from a neighbour how to say ‘hello’ in their first language or ensuring local footpaths are clear and accessible.
