1. Cleared a container (saves $65 a week hiring it!)
2. Cleared sheds and helping prepare a property for sale.
3. Moved furniture around (two of us) to free up a part of the house.
4.Cleared junk under the house and took to refuse transfer station.

In 1894, English chemist Charles Fredrick Cross patented his artificial silk as "Viscose". He names the material "Viscose" because its production involved the use of a highly sticky viscous solution. The first commercial viscose was produced by the British company Courtaulds Fibres in 1905.
Courtaulds formed an American division to produce their formulation in the United States in 1910. In the USA the name "Rayon" was adopted in 1924. In Europe though, the yarn itself remained known as "Viscose", which has been ruled an acceptable term for Rayon by the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC).

Hokitika has been named the most welcoming town in NZ in Booking.com's 10th annual Traveller Review Awards.
Would be keen to hear from those who live there or who have visited whether they think the town really is exceptionally friendly. What makes it a welcoming place, or otherwise? Were there any cafes, restaurants, shops or other places you received a particularly warm welcome?
Lake Tekapo and Oamaru came in second and third place respectively, followed by Cambridge, Picton, Invercargill, Martinborough, Kerikeri and Palmerston North. Would also love to hear from you if you have thoughts on these places. Please include 'NFP' (not for publication) in your comment if you don't want it to appear in a travel article.
Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts?
