Monster Community Garage Sale
Hi neighbours, Hillcrest Lions Club are having another monster Garage Sale this Saturday, 22nd May from 7-11am. All items are donated and all money raised goes back to the local community to those in need. The sale is at the War Memorial Hall, Hall Rd, Glenfield. Heaps of things from electrical goods, clothing, kitchenware, linen, toys, furniture etc etc. If you have any goods in good condition that you would like to donate please text Heather 027 2248761. Our Garage Sales are always well attended and does get busy, but we welcome everyone.
Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
