Hi neighbours! There has been a 15 percent increase in elderly abuse cases in Auckland over the last year. Do you know anyone impacted by this problem? How can we help the elderly feel more included in society?

Hi wonderful people of Ponsonby and beyond. Some of you may know, but the Kelmarna Organic gardens have had 3 grazing cows (steers) on their land. They have been there for a couple of yesrs now (gifted to the gardens - and named as well). They are a local delight to the inner city children and community (I know, because my kids adore them). The gardens have decided to sell them off as "meat packs". It all leaves a very bad taste in the mouth (excuse the pun), for animals that are seemingly pets.
Just was wondering if anyone knows whatould be the best approach to help petition against this.
All for sustainable practices....just this seems rather alarming (the gardens Facebook page has caused quite a stir too).
