I really want to be useful for this community, so I make tutorial videos about how to fold things correctly, give advice on the organization of space, and also giving the information about the places where you can buy certain things in Auckland to organise the space around you.

Hi neighbours, an expedition to study the ocean around Antarctica and its impact on climate change has been given the green light. Are you excited NZ scientists could be helping to solve a major global issue?

You can take part in the #StepWithRefugees campaign, where participants will collectively walk, run and cycle 1 billion miles - the distance refugees cover each year to reach safety, by adding your steps here: stepwithrefugees.org...
Another option is to volunteer with the New Zealand Red Cross as a Refugee Support Volunteer. Volunteers help families start again, while teaching them about New Zealand culture and connecting them with people from the community.
For anyone based in the Wairarapa, Masterton Neighbourhood Support has a programme called 'WeConnect' that matches new residents from diverse backgrounds including refugees to a local buddy. If you're interested in volunteering or supporting the programme in other ways you can email Masterton Neighbourhood Support Area Coordinator, Cathy Cameron, at: cathy@connectingcommunities.org.nz

Unfortunately our flatmate is moving back to Christchurch so we are looking for someone to fill her room. The room is available on 30th June.
The room is located on the bottom floor. Is comfortably fits a queen sized bed with side tables and drawers. It has a large wardrobe also.
Shared space includes kitchen, dining and lounge area all fully furnished with L shaped sofa and a wall mounted TV.
Outdoor space is a deck with seating and a bbq with a sad looking herb garden.
We are all working professionals in our early 30s. We are laid back, relatively active but enjoy a wine or beer or gin or vodka or whiskey after work and over the weekend.
We are all independent but will have a shared meal or go out for a drink or dinner on the odd occasion.
We are looking for someone who's relaxed and easy going and looking to share this amazing home.
If you are interested in meeting us, please send me a message with a bit more about yourself and I'll be in touch to organise a time to view.
No pets or smokers.

For some, gardening in New Zealand - literally putting down roots - is a journey of a thousand miles (or more).
We would love you to join Dementia Auckland in our annual Countdown Collection Appeal this July. Volunteers are needed to collect vital funds for our free carer support services in Auckland. This appeal significantly helps our organization and we need support to achieve our mission.
