Our new Boutique store is SPCA's first ever store that specialises in selling pre-loved designer and high-quality pieces including clothing, accessories, homewares and furniture. We are all about connecting people with the perfect pre-loved luxury or designer piece for them, while also raising funds for our charity. Sustainability is also a key focus for us, but not just by giving formerly owned items a second chance by keeping them out of the landfill. “Protecting the environment is important to us at SPCA so we’ve chosen to use recyclable card for our price tags so that they can be reused, and we’ve sourced recyclable paper bags for our customers. We’ve also made it a priority to support local by working with New Zealand suppliers for our shop’s fixtures and signage.” - Cathy Crichton.

If you shop with our store not only be able to snatch up something unique, but know that each purchase we make is helping animals in need. Come say hi and visit us today from 9am-5pm!

Foodstuffs Own Brands Ltd is recalling all batches and all dates of its six Pams brand berry products.
New Zealand has seen a surge of cases of Hepatitis A this year and 12 of those infected (including seven hospitalised) have been linked with the consumption of frozen berries.
The recall of Pams products is a precaution due to this possible link of Hepatitis A associated with berries sourced from Serbia.

Here's what you need to know:
- All batches and all dates of Pams Mixed Berries, Two Berry Mix, Smoothie Berry Mix, and Raspberries have been recalled and removed from supermarkets.
- The Pams products are sold at New World, PAK’nSAVE and Four Square stores nationwide.
- Hepatitis A is a contagious virus which spreads easily. Learn more here.
- Due to the possibility that other brands of berries may be infected, New Zealand Food Safety continues to advise those eating frozen berries to wash hands before and after preparing the berries, briefly boil them before eating and ensure cooking temperatures exceed 85 degree Celsius for 1 minute.

If you have consumed any of these products and have any concerns about your health, seek medical advice.

If you have information about her whereabouts, please call police on 111 or contact 105, referencing file number 220930/4710.

Hi Everyone,

I am a new cat mum. He is 5 months old and is in a hyper stage. I’ve covered all my furniture with sheets and blankets etc - not aesthetically appealing. Any suggestion on how I can protect my furniture from my cats claws that look a bit better than sheets? He has a scratch pole which he uses but I’m sure once I have taken the blankets etc off he will have a go at the furniture. Also have used aristopet spray (deterrent) and also cat nip on his pole. With treats. Just wondering if someone has other ideas. I’ve been told to do regular nail trimming. Know anyone that can do this regularly and what the cost would be? How often are we supposed to nail trim? I realise it can become expensive so am looking for someone to do this regularly for me.
