Pauline from Windsor Park

Hi Neighbourly,

I am wondering how I can dispose/reuse my old tattered couch set. Do you think it would be wise to reupholster this couch when compared to disposal. Your wisdom and knowledge is much appreciated

Hi Neighbours,
I am posting on behalf of my friends who are from Italy and living in (and loving!) New Zealand. They are a lovely couple with a young boy who is 2 and a half. They wish to move out of their current accommodation and are looking for a two bedroom house or flat on the North Shore. They make great tenants as they are extremely tidy and enjoy taking good care of their home. They are hoping to find a property with a carport or garage. Their budget is up to $500 per week. If you are looking to find great tenants or know anyone who is, then please contact Veronica on 021 082 93318. Many Thanks!

Expect heavy traffic and changeable weather over Queen’s Birthday Weekend

The NZ Transport Agency is encouraging drivers heading away for Queen’s Birthday Weekend in the Auckland and Northland region to take care and be prepared for heavy traffic, delays and changeable weather.

Metservice is forecasting a change in the weather with showers and low temperatures in the region over the weekend, so it’s important that drivers stay alert, be patient and don’t rush.

NZTA predicts the heaviest time for traffic heading north out of Auckland on SH1 will be 1pm–6pm on Friday between Pūhoi and Wellsford. For traffic returning on Monday the busiest time will be 11am – 6pm.

For motorists heading south out of Auckland, it’s heaviest at Takanini on SH1 between 10:30am and 7:30pm on Friday. Coming back, the busiest time on Monday is 10:30am – 8pm.
