A helicopter has been called to a car stuck down a bank in rural Canterbury.
A car has crashed off West Coast Rd (State Highway 73) near Castle Hill Dr in Castle Hill shortly before 1pm on Monday.

Drivers told to be careful after two kea killed on road

Two kea have died after they were hit by vehicles near Arthur's Pass.
The Department of Conservation (DOC) is urging drivers to slow down and be careful around the endangered birds, which often congregate near the state highway.
