We’re Tawa’s first bowling club with membership open to all.

As the name suggests, the club was formed by men and women who had served for New Zealand’s Defence Force. After its first year, it was opened to all members of the public and we have a mix of both retired servicemen and women and the non-serving public, the majority being non-serving members.

The Club is separate to but continues to have a close association with the Tawa RSA.  Our clubrooms are located at the Tawa RSA and all bowling club members automatically receive membership to the Tawa RSA, providing access to their social facilities (open five days a week). Our bowling green is a natural surface and in excellent condition.

New members are welcome and receive their first year’s membership free.
