Taupo Parents Centre is a not for profit organisation run by parents for parents. Parents Centre was first established in NZ in 1952 with the Taupo Centre being set up in 1978. The organisation offers four core services to its members and the community - childbirth (antenatal) education, parents support groups, parenting education, and advocacy/lobbying for parents, birthing and families. Our mission is: positive birth experiences and informed parenting in a community where parents are supported and highly valued in their role.
