Created to help guide parents, families and health professionals, Remembrance Photography is the increasingly common practice of taking photos of precious first, second or third trimester stillborns and terminally ill babies. Depending on circumstances, photography can be taken by family, friends, health professionals, professional photographers or a charity photography organisation. Many parents say that having photos helps them remember their babies.
Remembrance Photography is a small, non-profit organisation run by volunteers.
Remembrance Photography also provides free printed brochures to hospitals around the country to help guide health professionals and bereaved parents through the process of deciding, taking and using photos. The brochure file is also free to download. If you are a nurse, midwife, doctor or other health professional and would like free printed copies, please contact us.
