The Palmerston North Aeroneers is a club located in the Manawatu region of New Zealand's North Island.
Club Flying is every Sunday starting at 9am weather permitting at our Spur Road West field at Colyton, with midweek flying only on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The exception to this is public holidays when we can fly on that holiday if it falls on the Monday, Wednesday or Friday. A notice will be issued if anything varies.
The Club fosters and encourages the building and flying of model aircraft. The Club began in September 1946 as the "Manawatu Model Aeroplane Club", and its original Secretary, Mr Russ Johnson, is still active in the Club today. The Club is affiliated to the New Zealand Model Aeronautical Association (NZMAA), the governing body for all model flying in New Zealand, which in turn is affiliated to the F.A.I. through the Royal New Zealand Aero Club.
