North Canterbury Neighbourhood Support
In recent months North Canterbury Neighbourhood Support has expanded and developed its profile targeting specific areas of our community, to enhance and create strengthened community networks. In more recent weeks we have initiated a programme for the young people in our district. This is a great way to plant seeds of community cohesiveness as well as building Neighbourhood Support Networks in some of the smaller townships in our area.
The pilot Junior Neighbourhood Support programme continues to be is seen as a positive reinforcement of the Safer School initiatives, focusing on rewarding good behaviour and community spirit.
