Interlock NZ is situated in Cambridge, New Zealand. We are all Volunteers and our members come from across Cambridge and surrounding areas including Te Awamutu, Hamilton and Matamata. Our aim is to offer opportunities for the disability community and the community at large to connect, form new friendships and re-establish old ones. We offer a Wednesday Cafe quiet zone for the community to connect in a less formal way. We supply some art materials, board games, and indoor bowls as well as table ornaments to inspire conversation. Friday craft activity that can be upwards of 60 people including supporters. Each Craft is set at different levels for easy through to the artist and each week is a different craft. The place we call home allows us to offer fun, safe, welcoming opportunities for people who are living with a disability to connect with friends and community while developing opportunities to learn, share and connect.
