If there’s one thing you should know about Coriander’s it’s that we’re big. Big flavour, big menu, biggest Indian restaurants in Christchurch.

We are a premier dining establishment serving authentic ethnic Indian cuisine designed by experienced Indian chefs. Drop by for after-work drinks with nibbles and sharing platters, or settle in for a corporate lunch, family dinner, or group celebration.

We have three restaurant locations. The original Coriander’s is in Rolleston, and has been upgraded and expanded over the years to accommodate up to 100 guests in comfort and style.

Our flagship central city restaurant is in a beautiful colonial-style building in St Asaph Street. It is our newest and largest restaurant with a function room, space for large and small groups, and an undercover terrace area for after-work drinks and al fresco dining.

Our third restaurant is in the Bush Inn Centre at the corner of Riccarton Road and Waimairi Road, serving and delivering to Christchurch’s western suburbs.

Coriander's Sumner is now open.

The extensive menu is inspired by North Indian cuisine and topped off with a list of premium wines. All our restaurants are fully licenced and offer BYO.

Coriander’s has been operating in Christchurch since 2006 and has become known as Canterbury’s top Indian dining experience. In 2020 the chain came under new management, and we are taking all three Christchurch owned and operated restaurants to the next level of quality and class.
