Christmas Country Fete
I am helping to organise this year's Christmas Country Fete and thought it may be of interest to the community of Christchurch. It is taking place at the Vintage Car Club on McLeans Island Road on Thursday 31st October from 10am-4pm and further information can be found at www.thefete.co.nz.... There will be lots of local businesses, artisan creators, delicious food and drinks plus entertainment from local bands and the cute poppets from Southern Ballet. A VIP Luncheon is also available - tickets on the website and available on the day at the gate. We can't wait to see you!
Poll: Would you commute by public transport if it was free?
Using your car is convenient, except for finding parking.
Cycling lets you leave anytime, but you might arrive soaked.
So, neighbours, if public transport had the perk of being free, would it be your main way to commute?

Poll: Does grocery bagging affect where you shop?
There's only a few differences between our larger chain supermarkets here in New Zealand. Having someone bag your groceries is one of them.
