Prima Facie - returns to Circa Theatre

Marketing Manager from Circa Theatre

By Suzie Miller

Back after its sell-out season in 2023!

This vital, witty, gripping, multi-award-winning solo-show is touring New Zealand and is back at Circa Theatre for a limited time.

Tessa is a criminal defence lawyer at the top of her game and loving it: defending, cross-examining, and playing the rules of the law to win. But when the tables turn she finds herself at the mercy of the very system that she has dedicated her life to. Shadows of doubt are illuminated, making us question, who is our legal system serving?

This phenomenal production starring Mel Dodge and directed by Lyndee-Jane Rutherford continues an urgent conversation for Aotearoa New Zealand.

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
Do you think NZ should follow suit? Vote in our poll and share your thoughts below.
