ON TOMORROW - Puanga: A Matariki Celebration
Nau mai, haere mai – join us for our libraries FREE whānau-friendly event and learn about celebrating Puanga this winter with Matua Clayton Cook.
✨ Thursday 27 June, 6–7.30pm, Ōtaki Scout Hall
Come along to hear Clayton kōrero about the stars, followed by fun Matariki crafts and a free sausage sizzle. No registration needed.
Like Matariki, Puanga is a time to reflect on the past and plan for and celebrate the year ahead. It's an opportunity for iwi and the community to honour their mountain, remember loved ones and look forward to the new year 💙
