You’re invited to Grow Waikato
It is an exciting time for our Events and Tourism sector with the summer season fast approaching.
Over the next year our region will host several major events including the annual Field Days at Mystery Creek, The World Rugby Sevens, The 2023 FIFA Womens World Cup and the return of Balloons over Waikato.
This is the final Grow Waikato event for 2022 and I look forward to seeing you there to hear about some exciting events and tourism updates for our region.

Spotlight on drinking water at rural schools
A national study of drinking water quality at rural schools has found concerning levels of nitrates, E coli and other substances.
Small rural drinking-water suppliers face a growing range of challenges and issues, the report says, including declining water quality in some regions due to intensive agriculture and fewer regulatory requirements.
