We are having our monthly branch meeting at St Chads Church in Orewa next Tuesday afternoon
Visitors are welcome to attend the meeting
We have a guest speaker a historian and genealogist from Te Puke

time 2pm to 4pm
afternoon tea is available after the meeting and a time to talk to us

venue St Chads Church in Orewa
door charge $2 visitors, members are free
we also have a raffle next month we strongly encourage everyone to purchase

We also have a group of members who kindly volunteer their time at the Whangaparaoa library from 10am to 12pm Mon, Wed Thurs, Saturdays except Public holidays so come along and listen and learn

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
