Northspur - Locally Made Feature Film Launches in Cinemas This Week

Tim Neighbourly Lead from Mapua

"Northspur", the action/thriller feature film shot entirely in Nelson and Marlborough, is about to release nationwide this week! Written, directed and produced by local Top of the South filmmakers and starring the late Marshall Napier and NZ celeb actor Michael Hurst, the action/thriller (rated R16 for violence) hits the big screen at cinemas in Nelson, Motueka, Blenheim, Takaka, Westport, Reefton and Kaikoura (plus 40 other cinemas around NZ!) Check out Kate Rogers review last Friday on TV3's AM Show: www.facebook.com...

Be sure to see our beautiful Top of the South region featured in this exciting thriller that national reviewer remarked: "It's a high-impact action feature five years in the making. Stacked with fine actors from Aotearoa and Australia, it’s tense, vivid and beautifully shot, and has just been picked up for distribution in the US."

Check your local cinema's schedule for screening times and be sure not to miss it!
