Tutoring (Maths and Literacy) Y1-10

Junaid and Lisa from Flat Bush

Hi there. I realise that it has been a crazy time with children missing lots of school time due to lockdowns. I am an experienced teacher who has undertaken currently practiced Pedagogy and Learning Styles which are goals of our National Curriculum. I believe in the value of creating rapport, and learners having agency in what they learn and supporting them to learn in a way that they enjoy while developing the Key Competencies set aside by the Ministry of Education. These insist that learners need to develop these skills, like Self Management, and Collaboration alongside understanding symbols as learnt in subjects like Maths and Literacy etc. I have worked in multi cultural environments and believe that I can modify my style to suit all learners. I do not see any student as being unable to learn. I will work at whatever area the learner needs or the parents want me to focus on. I am able to take these sessions at my home in Flatbush, near Barry Curtis Park, or travel to you. Please note travel may incur extra cost due to rising petrol costs. Please contact me if interested or even just to have a chat to discuss this further. Please contact me through this post and we will arrange further contact. Nga mihinui, Fa'afetai lava Junaid

Poll: Should drivers retake the theory test every 10 years?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

Drivers get where they need to go, but sometimes it seems that we are all abiding by different road rules (for example, the varying ways drivers indicate around a roundabout).
Do you think drivers should be required to take a quick driving theory test every 10 years?

Vote in the poll and share any road rules that you've seen bent! 😱
