Seeking a group to drive our Onerahi Community-Lead Projects

The Team from Whangarei District Council

Kia ora koutou,

This is an open invitation for keen individuals or groups to put their hand up to drive the Onerahi 'Community Lead Projects' (CLP) initiative.
The lead CLP group needs to:
πŸ‘¨β€πŸ‘©β€πŸ‘§β€πŸ‘¦ be able to meet online regularly
πŸ‘¨β€πŸ‘©β€πŸ‘§β€πŸ‘¦ be diverse and inclusive
πŸ‘¨β€πŸ‘©β€πŸ‘§β€πŸ‘¦ be able to demonstrate wide community support
πŸ‘¨β€πŸ‘©β€πŸ‘§β€πŸ‘¦ have the time and energy!
πŸ‘¨β€πŸ‘©β€πŸ‘§β€πŸ‘¦ be able to engage with and motivate the wider community
πŸ‘¨β€πŸ‘©β€πŸ‘§β€πŸ‘¦ consider the needs and wishes of local residents

Funding is not given directly to the lead group, however it is administered by Council on your behalf.

To recap: the lead group can be an existing group, two or more groups joining forces, or a bunch of community-mind individuals. If you can demonstrate the above requirements and you're keen to help direct Community-Lead Projects in Onerahi, then please send in an expression of interest in an email to Claire Wilson claire.wilson@wdc.govt.nz by 5pm, Thursday 31 March.

Sir John Key thinks lying and corruption is okay

Tel from Tikipunga

I thought he was better than that. This - www.stuff.co.nz... - is what he said.
He objects to Harris because she supports schemes such as health care and instead supports someone who thought drinking bleach was a cure for covid.
