Round the Bays goes virtual!

Bianka Atlas from BirdCare Aotearoa

Ports of Auckland Round the Bays 2022
Sunday 6 March 9:15am – Sunday 13 March 9:00pm

Round the Bays is now a virtual event, so you can fundraise for your feathered friends from anywhere (in New Zealand or around the world), at any time between 9.15am on March 6 and 9.00pm on March 13, all via a nifty app!

Sign up as an individual, family, or team of friends or colleagues – and make a positive difference to the lives of New Zealand’s precious wild birds.

Choose your own 8.4 km course to complete in one session – whether in your backyard, neighbourhood, or a nearby park (ensuring you adhere to the applicable COVID-19 guidelines).

There will be live leaderboards, an interactive course map, sharing on social platforms, and participant places and paces in real-time. And you can even claim a finisher’s certificate and medal, which will be posted to you after the event (within New Zealand).

This is the first time BirdCare Aotearoa is a listed charity in Round the Bays, so we would love for you to join us. Whether you choose to walk, run or fly to the finish line, support BirdCare Aotearoa and give wild birds a second chance at life.

If you’d prefer not to participate in this event, you can still support BirdCare Aotearoa by fundraising, sponsoring another person who is participating, or donating directly to us.

To register, fundraise, or sponsor another person: rtb22.grassrootz.com...

To donate directly to BirdCare Aotearoa:

Thank you so much for your support!
