Tiger Lily Potted
There are two flowering bulbs in this pot. Orange Tigerlily. Bright orange flowers which come out in January after a lot of the other lilies giving a splash of colour in the garden. Petals curve backwards showing the stamens in typical Tigerlily fashion. Tolerant of most conditions and soils though they do like compost and richer soils. Die down in winter and come up again in the Spring. They do multiply but not invasive. Grow to a metre and half one to two metres high. Could be left in it's pot till next season or eased into the ground out of its pot. Pickup is in Kuripuni.
The first person who said they wanted it couldnt pick it up so the flowers are finishing now after blooming for two weeks, but next year it will be all go again. The last picture is of the parent plant.
