If you are looking for volunteer opportunities then Upper Hutt Citizens Advice Bureau would be interested in talking to you. We are looking for people available during weekdays.

Do you want to make a difference in people’s lives?

Upper Hutt Citizens Advice Bureau is looking for more Volunteers.

If you are someone who can:

• relate to a diverse range of people

• be an effective listener

• has good oral and written skills

• maintain confidentiality

• computer literate

• work as part of a team

• have some free time during the week

Poll: Is it rude to take a full trolley to self-checkout?

Luckily self-checkout is pretty common in supermarkets these days and we generally use it to quickly buy a few things without the long lines. But perhaps it's appropriate to head there with your full trolley to skip the lines?
