Government Caught Out

Michael from Trentham

Has the NZ Government been caught out telling a porky surrounding the Covid vaccination saga?

Chris Hipkins (Minister for Covid 19 Response) said today that the Government is now telling people to get a second vaccination three weeks after the first instead of a six week gap because there is now sufficient vaccine available and a three week gap lessons further the possibility of becoming infected with Covid and Delta Covid.

Hold on.

Originally it was a three week gap between the initial vaccination and the booster vaccination until Jacinda Ardern and her Government told us that four, five and six weeks is better than three because it makes the vaccine in our bodies more effective.

Now Chris is saying something quite different.

Stand up the truth.

Poll: Is it rude to take a full trolley to self-checkout?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

Luckily self-checkout is pretty common in supermarkets these days and we generally use it to quickly buy a few things without the long lines. But perhaps it's appropriate to head there with your full trolley to skip the lines?

What are your thoughts? Is that rude?

Share in the comments below if this has ever happened to you.
