We're indoors this week
As the weather is going to be wet and blustery this weekend, we've managed to find an indoor location to keep out the elements. This Sunday we will be operating from the old RD1 building at 112 High St South.
REMEMBER YOUR MASK. Head on down for your veges and produce from:
Locavore Farm Carterton:
We have fennel this week, a versatile vege, you can use the tops in a salad, and try the bulb roasted... Other spray-free compost grown produce for this week includes chinese cabbage, mini daikon, florence fennel, jerusalem artichoke, kohlrabi, baby leeks, lettuce, miners lettuce, parsnips, pumpkin, radishes, silverbeet, turnips and free range eggs
Greytown Gold:
Julie has Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Dukkah, Hazelnuts, roasted & in shell, Feijoas, Lemons & Rhubarb this week.
Helen's Honey:
We have been selling local honey for over 8 years. We have a large range of honey from mild, floral Meadow, through fruity Bush, to our delicious, full-bodied Premium Bush, all at very reasonable prices.
Honey may be purchased in 500g or 900g pots, for $10 or $15, or larger 2.5 and 5kg containers by arrangement. We offer an Eco-Friendly container filling service, where you provide the container and we fill it with your choice of honey, (available by arrangement, not on site at the Market).
Helen will also have some of Elwin Farm s products, including some plants, seeds, eggs and daffodils.
Garden For Life:
Helen’s produce this week at her Garden for Life stall includes: miner’s lettuce, mizuna, mustard salad, spinach, silver beet, NZ spinach, red and green sorrel, parsley, white sage, lemons, grapefruit, whole and shelled hazelnuts, walnuts, Autumn Road quail eggs, and Boly’s organic stoneground flour.
