Keeping everyone warm-a message from animal welfare

Charmaine from Mount Albert

Thinking about animals at this time of year. It's so very cold so remember to keep your pets inside at night, especially our older pets that may be developing arthritis. Also, can we spare a thought for those poor animals that don't have anyone to love or care for them. If you have strays around you, they may have been left to fend for themselves! can we leave a warm blankets somewhere safe? even a cardboard box or newspaper provides some much needed warmth and comfort so they are not freezing. Please be kind, a little kindness goes a long way.

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

Drivers get where they need to go, but sometimes it seems that we are all abiding by different road rules (for example, the varying ways drivers indicate around a roundabout).
Do you think drivers should be required to take a quick driving theory test every 10 years?

Vote in the poll and share any road rules that you've seen bent! 😱
